Parkhotel KAŠPERSKÉ HORY

Parkhotel Kašperské Hory is located near the center of the town of Kašperské Hory, a town with a glorious history known for gold mining. In 1356, Charles IV had Kašperk Castle built here to protect his mines. It is located in the heart of Šumava on the edge of the national park.

This spa is not just a place for rest and relaxation, but combines elements of spa, nature and history , creating a very special atmosphere that guarantees you a unique experience. The technologically modern balneo operation is completely oriented towards herbal treatments including baths, herbal steam, wraps and massages. All products used in the spa are from the pure environment of Šumava. Special mixtures for the spa operation are prepared from fresh herbs collected on private mountain pastures by a certified company. The guest can choose from five types of herbal baths and three mixtures prepared for the traditional Šumava herbal steam bath . Peat and clay also bear the Šumava logo. For many spa visitors, the sound of dripping water in a rock cave or the sound of flowing water from the St. Barbara spring , which springs directly in the spa, is an experience.

An integral part of the spa is a stylish relaxation pool, which guests can use throughout the day. The 4-hectare park is intended only for hotel guests. There are sun loungers, a solar shower, benches and, for active guests, a tennis court with an artificial surface. In 2016, a meditation path was opened in the energy park - a program aimed at restoring human strength, both psychological and physical. The path is a system of twelve places, each of which has a special purpose energy. Two of them also include menhirs, brought from different areas of Šumava and specially activated.
