The island of Vir is one of the islands in the Zadar archipelago (North Dalmatia region). The island is connected to the mainland by a bridge (the bridge is free). The island is ideal for walking and cycling. You can visit the cliffs and sandy beaches in the north-west of the island, or the ruins of the Kaštelina castle. Across the bridge you can reach the city of Nin and its sandy beaches, where there is also healing mud, on a cycle path. In addition to the historic city of Nin, you can visit the amazing Zadar with its many sights and attractions.
